On June 5th, 2010, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson brought three widely-read travel bloggers and their families to Minneapolis, MN. Equipped with a Samsung Moment Smartphone and an Avis rental car, they knew they were ready for one fun road trip. The catch? They didn't know where they were going. The only thing each family knew is that they would be traveling nearly 2,000 miles over seven days and would end at a Country Inns & Suites somewhere within the United States each night. With trust in their smartphones, they started their journey in Minnesota.
Each blogging family would receive MMS video messages, dubbed Suite Stops, that would lead them through their seven-day road trip. However, by receiving only one video message at a time, they were always left wondering where their next Suite Stop would take them.
